My Story

My parents always called me a magpie because I had a habit of seeing shiny things and doing whatever I could to get them. I like to think it’s a trait I’ve adopted in my professional life. I always knew I wanted to do something creative but I wasn’t sure how. One degree and a Design Diploma later, I’m happy to share that UX design was that shiny object I needed in my life.

I studied International Development and received my B.A., but when I joined the workforce as a Marketing Coordinator for a food bank, the creativity it encouraged confirmed that I wanted to pivot and learn more about design. After some thorough research, I found that I could still help people while pursuing my true passions, which led me to the beautiful world of UX.

My goal as a designer is to take in the beautiful lifelong journey of learning and bring joy to others through simple, creative, and person-first design.
